Lega Dilettante Corsa meaning literally "Amateur Racing League", was conceived as an idea between friends who shared a similar interests in Sim Racing.

The concept was to create a group on Facebook catering to beginner and intermediate racers in Assetto Corsa. The group was a massive success in its short lifespan and a server was purchased to aid the formation of a league.
